Description
ZeroMQ (http://www.zeromq.org/) is a thin layer on top of sockets API that provides convenient message/queue-based abstraction, and is quite fast. It would simplify both development and user experience if no ssh is used
Seriously, what has ssh to do with X10? It simply makes learning/evaluating the language/environment more difficult, since it has a bunch of of issues of its own
It would definitely be interesting to have a port of X10 to use ZeroMQ. If you are interested, do consider doing this.
Out of curiosity, what are your concerns about ssh?
