Description

The lightweight version of Wagon-HTTP does not apply the AuthenticationInfo to the Authenticator. Please see the attached patch for a solution.

This would be extremely useful to have included in m2-alpha-2.

It appears that the AuthenticationInfo is only set on LightweightHttpWagon when adding the credentials to the repository URL, and not when supplied in settings.xml.

I've just done a fresh build on another machine and settings.xml now seems to work.. so ignore that previous comment

Might want to check this properly before m2-alpha-2 though.

tested, confirmed that it didn't work on basic auth. Applied patch, now works. Thanks!
