Description

The selection tool isolates features and passes a box to the filer in the "selection" view but this filter is not applied to the features so all the features in the layer are shown

1) open a point layer
2) select some of the points
3) look at the "selection" view
==> all point features are shown not simply the features selected.

In 1.1M6, the filter simply didn't work.

We fixed this during the last code sprint; the issue was that the "features" were cached in memory - without a geometry being downloaded! And thus the BBOX filter could not function. The solution was to run the query against the real data store and just ask for the set of feature ids back. And then use that set of feature ids to select the features in memory.
