Commands are consuming keystrokes in views such as search and so letters such as "s" can not be used. We need to discuss how to solve this. Maybe straight keystrokes can not be used?

Jesse has changed keyboard shortcuts to *not* conflict with normal typing.

This is not a good long term solution, when I am working on the map I want to switch tools with one hand while I aim the mouse with another.
