WMS not requesting layer

    xp against geoserver WMS

Description

I add geoserver wms to map. I get a picture.

I pan around - and often it stop requesting anything from the server. The server doesnt get a map request, and there's no "busy" indication in udig (cpu at 0%). I never get a map. This will happen for 5 or six little pans (sometimes forever). Then it'll decide to actually do a map request and draw the image.

At all times an image should be drawn (ie. the data is on-screen).

I checked the geoserver bounding box for the dataset, and it looks good.

Jesse can you figur out if this is a rendering problem, or a WMS problem (assignable to richard).

I am not sure if we have enough information to reproduce this problem. Does this only occur with WMS (or only with GeoServer?).

I wonder if GeoServer has returned a service exception ..

I'm not sure what the issue here is. It is possible that the WMS renderer was refusing to render because the viewport was outside of the bounds. A warning has been added that indicates this.
