Description

Since v. 1.2.1 the show selection tool on the right-click menu has not zoomed to the selected geometry(s) using postgres 8.4 or 9.1. Have tried it with a 33,000 line (20 MB) table and small udig drawn table, as well as the demo-bc database. An exported shapefile from the pgdb with the same data zooms correctly.

It appears that the show selection does work if the CRS/SRID of the Map Editor matches the SRID of the Postgis table.

In Walkthrough 1, the demo-bc table the SRID must be manually set to NAD83/BC Albers (3005) to show selection of the bc_hospitals layer and then changed to WGS 84(4326) to zoom to a feature in the bc_border table.

It would be more intuitive and even required for utility that the CRS of the feature selected or selection bounding box be transformed to the Map Editor CRS and then used for the zoom.

Thanks for a great product and your your attention to this matter.
