When trying to install new features (Help>Find and install...>Search for new features>...) it requires org.eclipse.tomcat plugin.
After searching in eclipse.org I found the version 4.1.230.v2007 in the wtp-all-in-one-sdk-R-2.0.1-20070926042742-win32.zip package in the archive (http://archive.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/index.php) . I cannot find a more recent version but this one works. I just copied the org.eclipse.tomcat folder to the plugins folder in the udig installation.
Maybe it (or a newer version) shoud be included in the base build of udig...
