      Description

I am facing some problems regarding the Udig's support for gml files. I used the gml files(gml + xsd) that I got by exporting from geomedia, but it didn't work. I also tried the gml files(.gml + .xsd) that I got using the ogr utility, but it also didn't work. Then I got some files that had all the extensions u asked for (.gml + .xsd, .xml) but again it didn't work. Some of the files that I tested were supported by some other products such as gmlViewer. I would like to know if gml implementation is done completely in Udig or is it under process? If is is completely implemented then can you tell me where can I find some sample gml files. I am also attaching the console's error msg that I got once during the testing.

Here is some test data from geotools:

There have been two new GML parsers implemented in GeoTools since the one we use in uDig 1.1.x; I feel I should disable this feature until such time as a datastore is created based on these newer more capable parsers.

The gml datastore is being removed from geotools due to lack of a developer.

GML datastore has been dropped from the GeoTools library; thus we won't be able to fix this issue.
