Selection not shown in Map (only table view)

Description

This appears to be a graphics card specific issue (I have personally seen it on slow laptops running 1.1.x - the solution was to hit refresh).

From Silvia email:

still I have the selection problem,

  • if I select a line shapefile the selection is visible both in the map view and in the tablw view
  • if I select a point or a polygon layer the selection is visible only in the table view

I would like to know if hitting refresh has any effect? If not this is a hard to reproduce problem...

With the last update now the bug is changed...
- selection works for both line and polygon layers
- selection doesn't work for point layers, even if I press the refresh after selecting some features

I think this was fixed (how selection is handled between the table and map) last code sprint. Can we verify and close this issue?
