Description

Deleting a project and selecting the "Delete from file system" option does not remove all files all the time.

1. Open uDig
2. Create a new project (project folder and file gets created on file system)
3. Create a new map (nothing gets added to file system)
4. Close uDig (map file gets added to file system)
5. Open uDig again and delete the project

The project is removed from the Projects view and the map file is deleted from the file system, but the project file and folder remains. If you miss out step 4 (so the map file hasn't been created) the project file is deleted from the file system, but the project folder remains.

this seems to be a subset of the UDIG-1036 issue

I redid the same process as above. The project folder persists even after being deleted from the Projects view. If you close udig and create a Project with the same name as the previously deleted project, the contents goes to the same folder.
Obviously this project hasn't been resolved yet.
I tested this on Windows XP

Probably this is related to the Windows File/folder access because in Mac and Linux everything works fine.
