Description

The layer view needs to listen to events from pages (printing). It also needs to be attached to the catalog.

This has not been fixed, so the question is really this.

Does Layers View ...
- reflect the state of the current editor? In which case it should shut of when a page is opened
- reflect the state of the currently select Map, either Editor or selected in the Page or Projects view

We need to figure out the scope of this view for documentation/clarity of focus.

We have decided to only make the layer view listen to maps. The map may be a box selected in the current page.
