      Description

      uDig by default creates the workspace '~/workspace' but does not leave any visible way to specify an alternative location for a workspace. uDig also does not allow the use of multiple workspaces.

          Sure, an option to create a workspace and/or switch between different workspaces can really help.

          Agree with Adrian, there should be in the Preference the way to set the workspace path.
          Don't understand what it means with "multiple workspace": it is possible to save and load project from different workspaces.

          Finally resolved.

          Added a preferences page in which you can set:
          - workspace path
          - locale for the guy
          - java head memory to be used by JGrass

          Defaults need to be added to the preference screen upon loading.

          Loading the preference page does not load any default values for the "maximum heap memory" and so trying to apply a different workbench issues an error (see attached screen shot).
