Description

After selecting File->Print from the menu bar a page+Map printing map view page is created. When this page+Map map page is active, one can turn on and off layers in the layer view, but nothing changes in the map view. Either this functionality should be disabled in the layer view or a warning should be given or the functionality should work.

File>Print replicates the respective Project in the Project pane, as-well-as creates a page+Project Project in the Project pane(see attached screen shot). In the attached image, you'll notice there are two 'Los Cabos' and a page+Los Cabos, with a 'Los Cabos' inside of it. Thus, a total of 2 'Los Cabos' duplicates were made in the Projects pane, when only one should be created.

As it relates to turning on and off layers in the layer view, on OS X, this feature works unlike Geordie Hobart's uDig as per this report.
