Cannot specify sonar.javascript.lslint.predef in POM

Description

If I specify the sonar.javascript.lslint.predef in the property portion of the POM, it doesn't get applied because I still violations complaining about entries I provided in the comma delimited list. If I however set in through the Setting page in Sonar, it works.
