For exemple, we would like to extract all metrics (or specific metrics) for a resource (sometimes recursively) and during a periode: Last n months(or years, or versions) or from that time or version to this time or version. Results should be in xml, json or csv if possible.

For technical reasons (db volume), past measures are stored only for projects and packages, not for files. So this web service will not support only requests on files.

XML format will be supported later (see SONAR-2054). Currently JSON and CSV formats are handled.
