Description
Sonar used to work well and it used to be faster even a couple of weeks ago. Now for some reason, it just takes too too too long probably in the amount of 3-4 minutes just to load the violations page. From then on it takes more time to drill down even further.
Is there a way to clear the cache or make this tool faster so our developers are able to use it instead of feeling it as a burden.
We are using the default Derby database with all default configurations. Also the war files are started on the tomcat container.
Please Sudhir don't create any JIRA ticket before having first discussed your issue on the Sonar mailing list. Moreover you're coming back with a big performance issue on production with Derby whereas this db should be used only for evaluation purpose (this message is displayed in the footer of Sonar pages). So please migrating to MySQL, PostgreSql or Oracle should help you fix this issue.
