Description

When importing rules from a checkstyle configuration file, only built-in rules are correctly configured. The configuration of custom extensions is NOT imported : all custom rules remain "inactive" and all parameters remain empty.

I have the same issue. I have created a custom rule for checkstyle. Results are the following :

  • the new rule is displayed on the listing of all rules available -> i can configure it and it works
  • when i want to upload a checkstyle xml file using my custom rule, this rule is not taken into account and doesn't appear neither on the user interface nor in the xml file when i want to export back the checkstyle file
