Making the metric appear in the TimeMachine is fairly easy : is only consists of making the metric data type STRING. However, the issue comes from the fact that it is going to pollute the TimeMachine by being potentially very long and be active for all users. Therefore this ticket is going to be on hold until we add a configuration to the time machine to choose which metrics should appear.

With SONAR-1922, a new event is created each time the quality profile used by the project has been changed.

@Evgeny, a new event is created when the version of the quality profile has changed but do you confirm that an event is also created when another quality profile is used ?

Yes, Freddy, I confirm that sensor implemented in SONAR-1992 creates new event when profile was changed or if version of profile was changed.
