The threading bean implementation is probably going to be the trickiest, especially as changes are underfoot in the Jikes RVM threading model at the moment. The API is quite large, but a lot of it is optional. Ideally, we want it all available on JikesRVM but this will depend on how things progress on the refactoring front and how adding such features impacts performance.
