Unable to persist credentials in Firefox 3.5.3 and IE 8

In short, I was asked to create an issue in this project because of my problems with Apache Continuum. I am unable to remain authenticated; thus it makes the application unusable so this issue I have prioritized as a blocker.

  • In Firefox 3.5.3, I can sign in and my credentials are saved for that one request. Anything else is a guest user.
  • In IE 8, I can sign in but I remain a guest user.

Emmanuel Venisse can confirm this is a problem using IE8. He couldn't duplicate my issue with Firefox though.
