oort

Project Oort provides a cloud of cometd servers as a cluster sharing publish subscribe channels and user presence information. The Oort project will be built using a combination of the cometd-java server of the cometd project (but currently hosted by the jetty project) and the cometd-client module of the jetty project. Currently there is no code, but the principles involved have been implemented several times already for bespoke solutions. Initial committers will probably just be the jetty core committers.
