Description

Related to MPWAR-22 that was fixed for Maven 1 and is not present in Maven 2. We should be able to specify the path to our own custom manifest file when building a war, just like the <manifestFile> tag in the maven-ear-plugin.

This should already be possible using this configuration:

        <configuration>
          <archive>
            <manifestFile>path/to/your/MANIFEST.MF</manifestFile>
          </archive>
        </configuration>

I tested this with Maven WAR Plugin 2.1-alpha-2 and it works just fine.
