Description

We currently list maven-metadata.xml files in the search results. IMO they don't add value and should not be displayed.

(This is somewhat related to MRM-650, deleted maven-metadata.xml files are not removed from search results.)

Norbert,
This is because the change was committed to subversion trunk (Archiva 1.1) which is yet unreleased.

Thanks
James

It is funny, 1.1 is NOT 1.1.

What version do you think this fix will be released in?

Hi, this is fixed for 1.1 already. If you've upgraded to 1.1+ from a lower version, you need to remove the .index directory of your repository and possibly cleanup your archiva database as well. Please see http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/ARCHIVA/Upgrading+from+1.0.x+to+1.1.x for more details on this
