[#MRM-702] in the standalone bundle, the pid file is written into the installation directory alongside the wrapper, but should be in a temporary location - jira.codehaus.org

it is written to: ./apache-archiva-1.0.1/bin/macosx-universal-32/archiva.pid

but this directory should be able to be read-only.

Preferably it would be written to: $PLEXUS_BASE/temp/archiva.pid (or appropriate replacement for PLEXUS_BASE in ~~MRM-688~~)
