Description

this should simplify the code significantly by pushing things like the maintenance of Maven 2 specifics into the backing code. This should just be processing the form (generating the POM if needed) and then executing one or more calls into the API to store the artifacts (in the same way as a webdav PUT request would)

some old API uses to review:

  • Auditable in UploadAction should be part of a revision of how events are propagated to the audit logging plugin
  • MetadataTools and other metadata related calls should be pushed into the storage's responsibility
  • ManagedRepositoryContent / RepositoryContentFactory to be replaced by storage APIs
  • ArchivaRepositoryMetadata
  • ArtifactReference
