Description

Adding rulesets doesn't work as described in the docs. Looking at the source, there is no place where the "rulesets" list is used or defined.

I've just checked out the source and found the bug:

In PmdReport.java, line 161 reads:

  • @parameter

but it should be:

  • @parameter expression="$ {rulesets}

    "

Otherwise, the parameters from the POM file are never copied into the field.

This is actually fixed. The rulesets were being sent into the plugin, but there were situations in which they were not evaluated correctly. (wrong classloaders and such)
