Description

Hi, I've seen little response here, and I like to volunteer taking up the plugin again. Can you add me to the project as developer, so I can commit my additions, and fixes. I've basically fixed most outstanding issues, and added some stuff.

My name is Michael Franken, mfranken@xebia.com

please submit your patches to JIRA as attachments to the original bugs, or as a new one (if you have one patch that fixes several, create a new one and mention which it also fixes).

Apache is a meritocracy: http://www.apache.org/foundation/how-it-works.html#meritocracy, committership is earned by contributing over a period of time and showing genuine involvement in the project going forward.

Hi Brett,

Point taken, and I will submit the changes. My main concern is that submitted patches in the past don't seem to be followed up in the past, such as the contributions made by Dr. Spock (what's in an name?) in MPJIRA-8. I'm a little hesitant to create all tests, documentation and fixes, and then see that the contributions are not taken up, and made available in a new version of the plugin.

Your quick response gives me good hope though. Let me know what your commitment is to contributions.

regards,

Michael

we're very commited to contributions and ensuring contributors get the help they need - even more so than in the past. With regards to your query on MPJIRA-8 - it appears to have outstanding questions that were never answered.

Given the current shift in plugin development to Maven2, you might like to check http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVEN/Maven+Plugin+Matrix also.
