Description

It would be great if an e-mail is send after successfully deploying jars and jar snapshots. This way developers would know that a new version has been uploaded to the repository.

I think this functionality should be part of the deploy plugin, not the jar plugin.

Oeps, sorry my comment was about the maven 2.x jar plugin. Seem like the issue is for maven 1.x jar plugin.

Please ignore my comment. I have no knowledge on maven 1.x
