maven dist fails with ugly NumberFormatException

Description

I add this issue just to help others who run into the
same problem. If your maven script fails with a NumberFormatException
while building the source distribition it may be a symptom of
MPANT-13. Have a look at that issue for a more detailled description.

MPANT-13 seems to be the same as MPANT-12 which I corrected.
