Description

It is possible for us not to have to convert the repositories by turning an m1 repository request into an m2 style request and direct it at the m2 repository. This would allow us to maintain the one canonical repository.

From admins:

I've enabled htaccess override for the maven directory. You'll be able to put this in a htaccess file. Since maven does tons of traffic, once you get your formulas all figured out, I would like to move it to the httpd.conf. This will help the servers out.
