Description

1) Set up M2_HOME to point to apache-maven (containing 3.0-alpha-5)
2) Put M2_HOME/bin on the $PATH
3) Type mvnUpdate

Error:
[~]> mvnUpdate
Using Java version: 1.6
Unable to access jarfile /Applications/Dev/apache-maven/bin/.cd/bin/*.jar

Fixed in r891050 by removing those remnants of some unfinished experiment.
