There seems to be some evidence of a change in 2.0.9 that has increased memory consumption.

Pushing to 2.0.11 so we can have a smaller set of high-value issues to target for the next release (2.0.10).

setting to 2.0.10 since it appears fixed - will leave it with John to resolve as his change made the difference.
