Refactor and refine the getting started guide so that you could do it 10 min

Description

"chop up the getting started guide so it is again something you could do in 10 minutes to get a feel for Maven (perhaps go back to the level of the original guide). Maybe rename to something else? I used to call it "the 10 minute test" on Maven 1."

Related item, though the 5 minute guide is a basic hook, could be fleshed out to a 10 minute guide. These kinds of guides are important hooks for on-the-fence tinkerers.
