Description

I wish 2.3.2 was released so I can further maven adoption in my group and use the maven-release-plugin which gives me errors because we're using the 2.3.2-SNAPSHOT in the build.

Use version 2.3.2-SNAPSHOT.
Once it has been testes enough, it can be released,

He can't use a snapshot as the m-release-p complains about that.

Brian, a workaround is to do an internal release if you can't wait.

Yes, in the meantime, with m2eclipse, I materialized the project and released it internally. Thanks

+1 to get findbugs 2.3.2 released as soon as possible as findbugs is unusable in maven 3.
What needs to be done to get it "tested enough"?

The testing is manual until either the maven-shitty-plugin gets updated to be compatible with Maven 3 or I rewrite the tests to remove the dependency. I had a script with the that would test all the versions of Maven (~6) which saved a lot of time.
I believe I am current on all the other current housekeeping requirements up to date.

Myself (as many others) are anxiously awaiting the 2.3.2 (non-snapshot) release. Exactly what remains to be done? Did MFINDBUGS-119 remove the dependency on maven-shitty-plugin?

All of the issues in the 2.3.2 version are resolved/closed. Perhaps a new issue can be opened to track efforts in rewriting the tests (which in itself is code maintenance too)?

@Garvin Thanks for looking into this. I am not seeing the vote mail on mojo.devel mailing list though. I am looking at the wrong list?
