Maven 2.x FindBugs Plugin

When using findbugs-maven-plugin v 2.3.2-SNAPSHOT a fatal error occurs when attempting PDF generation.

Description

When using the findbugs plugin with the maven-pdf-plugin a fatal error occurs when attempting the report generation. It appears it's due to a problem with the Sink.

Attaching a sample project to reproduce the issue, just run 'mvn site'. See also MPDF-40.

Think yours was fine - it was mine there was a problem with, but it seems yours were removed by accident. Maybe you can re-add it.

With 2.3.3 I get the message

[INFO] Skipped "FindBugs Report" report.

and no findbugs report is generated (as there is none in the pdf you attached). Any idea why?

There were not any bugs in the sample. Once I added some source with known bugs I go the noted behavior. Sorry back to the beginning. Upon research I think this may be resolved in the newer Doxia versions and the new site plugins which are only supported on Maven 3. I will spend some time looking further into that solution.

I don't see any reason in keeping this open. The PDF plugin is tied to older version of Doxia so until that is rectified there will be issues with other reporting plugins that have moved forward.

It seems as though PDF is being handled in other ways by projects that require PDF output. An example is the Apache Camel ( http://camel.apache.org/building.html )which uses Prince ( http://www.princexml.com/download/)
