Description
I can't intall Mavenide 1.02 in NetBeans 5.5. Platform: Windows XP, Netbeans 5.5.
I tried this a zillion ways: download the entire package as a zip (http://mevenide.codehaus.org/download/mevenide-netbeans-1.0.zip), or using the autoupdate in various ways. I can install some of the things one at a time (e.g. XML grammar). Initially, I got errors (when using update center) about JDOM needed to be installed first, which went away when I installed JDOM first. But whatever happens, when I try to install all of the items, especially mevenide Netbeans project support, it says
Warning: could not install some modules:
"Mevenide Netbeans project support - The module named org.mevenide.repository was needed and not found. 2 further modules could not be installed due to the above problems. " Unable to render embedded object: File (install1) not found.
When I try to install only the Netbeans project module, I get this message which probably is at the ore:
"The following module dependencies could not be satisfied: MODULE org.mevenide.repository.core/1 >0.11 Module can be downloaded, but cannot be enabled. Include module in install list anyway"
When I try to install only the Mevenide-Repository, I get the same message.
Could this be related to missing initialization of local maven repository? Any hints?
All I am trying to do is open a project that I think is using Maven (http://genesis.ugent.be/mascotdatfile/cvs_repository/cvs_repository.html). It has a maven.xml file. Do I need mavenide for this?
Reproduce the bug:
--------
1. Uninstall Netbeans 5.5 if already installed
2. Download, install Netbeans 5.5 as administrator
3. Download http://mevenide.codehaus.org/download/mevenide-netbeans-1.0.zip, unzip somewhere.
4. Start Netbeans (as non-administrator Windows XP user). Install download above as manually downloaded NBM
5. Select all the components, accept all licenses, finish installation and choose "Restart IDE"
6. On next startup, Netbeans auto-disables some of the modules with the message above

The text "Unable to render embedded object: File (install1) not found." is not part of the error message. I tried to attach a screen shot.
