Description
MDweb should be navigable without using either the advanced search or the advance result panels. The user should therefore be able to add a query (river), maybe a selection (france) and click search.
The results might be 2567 records in 16 catalogs. We would show 20 pins on the map for the first 20 records. However, the user needs to be able to 'walk' through the results. The header therefore needs, preferably on the right, both some status information and a 'forwards' and 'back' button. e.g.
Records 20 - 40 of 2345 found on 12 catalogs [<] [>]
with, for bonus points, a dynamic circle in front while the results are coming in and both the 2345 and 12 being updated as results arrive.
According to this example, the next 12 matches (being updated) is the response of the next csw, which would have reached its limit results because the value of max record was 20.
