I dont think it is necessary for the user to choose the format. If this feature is implemented, history should always be stored in csv.

When loading historic data, both formats should be supported.

All data from Chronos is now saved as xml files instead of serialized java object.
This allows for other parties to read and manipulate the data, but also for external GC logs to be added to Chronos.
Adding GC logs from external systems simply requires that the GC log is transformed into correct XML and copied into the Chronos gc log directory.
