you need to remove the repositories section from your parent pom (for releases at least)

Following the hijacking of our main domain name, here's the updated info:

"info.magnolia","mavensync@repo.magnolia-cms.com:synched-to-central","rsync_ssh","Grégory Joseph","gregory.joseph@magnolia-cms.com",,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regarding references to repositories: I hadn't noticed this was against the general policy. I was hoping this would solve our neverending problems with customers not being able to build our product themselves - some of the artifacts are not open source and not available on a public repository. I was hoping to avoid to have them (and us) add references to our internal repository(ies) in settings.xml. As you can see, we currently only synch parent pom; the idea was that we'd synch all our parent poms - which are public - and all the open source artifacts. I guess I'll need to think again :D

in the case of private artifacts I guess it's ok to have multiple repositories
