Description

current implementation of HttpRepoConfiguration does not make use of username/password information for remote HTTP repositories even if that information is supplied in the configuration file.

attached patch fixes this (and also fixes the usage of some deprecated methods in httpclient)

patch that is attached to MAVENPROXY-46 should be applied first, in order to upgrade to the latest http-client release

maven-proxy is no longer supported.

We recommend that you look at Artifactory for your maven proxy needs.
