Description

When executing maven-archetype-plugin:generate on version 1.1 of the following archetypes

webapp-javaee6
ejb-javaee6
ear-javaee6
ear-jee5
ear-j2ee14

it fails with

Failed to execute goal
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.0-alpha-4:generate
(default-cli) on project standalone-pom: The defined artifact is not an
archetype

Please close this bug. There is nothing wrong with the archetype. The problem is caused by Maven not handling HTTP redirects when obtaining the archetype.
