Description

The archetype:create plugin generate webapp that has web
descriptor(web.xml) set to version 2.3!!! big nono if you want EL
stuff to work. Would be nice to upgrade to latest, or at least 2.4

I've just encountered this. An up-to-date archetype would have saved me a great deal of time.
