Description

Process for 1.0 release:

  • ensure all issues are resolve for the relevant version
  • update all dependent libs - ideally released libs should be used.
    At least for final version make releases (final or beta) of components
    which we can control (spice, jcomponent, etc), and inquire for others.
  • make first beta release - downloadable from http://dist.jcontainer.org/maven/loom/distributions.
  • any codehaus-specific release process?
  • allow time (2-4 weeks?) to test beta, in particular implementation of porting guide from phoenix.
  • make second beta release if required or final.
