Description

gem unpack fails for me on any gem with something along these lines:

dudley@hiro Temp :> jruby -S gem unpack ActiveRecord-JDBC
ERROR:  While executing gem ... (ArgumentError)
    install directory "ActiveRecord-JDBC-0.2.4" not absolute

No followup and a lot of work since then. Reopen if it's still a problem.
