it will be better if more information regarding custom code generation is given.in the sense custom.xml should conform to a particular xsd so that user can easily understand how to write it.

I'm assuming you're referring to the CodeGen customizations, since those are more complex than the BindGen ones. I've added a schema to the documentation for 1.2.2.
