Jetty 6.1.2rc3 breaks BASIC auth

      Description

      After upgrading to Jetty 6.1.2rc3 from rc2, whenever I access a page protected by a security constraint, I get 401 responses preventing me from logging into my webapp.

      I'll run wireshark/tcpdump traces and post them to the issue

        Forgot to add, this happens regardless of whether I use HTTP or AJP13 to talk to Jetty. Unrestricted URLs work fine.
