The shortcut specification XML is saved with UTF-8 encoding and encoding element in the XML says it is UTF-8. When installer comes to ShortcutPanel, the following stack trace is printed (if run from the command prompt) and the ShortCutPanel is skipped. Please see the attachments.

This is because we read the file in with UTF-8 encoding and then send it to the parser with the system's default encoding. I'll make it use UTF-8 again.

Any progress with this issue? This is holding me back for updating IzPack version in our project. So, it would be really nice if this would get fixed.

Sorry Lauri, this should be fixed since 4.3.2. Looks like I forgot to update the bug's status. Can you please test 4.3.3 as it is the latest version and see if the issue still exists?
