No warning messages when clicked "Quit" button

Description

When I installed the izpack step 7of 9 and clicked "Quit",it didn't show any warning messages to closed the window.

The same happens in step 8 of 9.
The quit buttons of InstallPanel and ShortcutPanel do not display a warning message.

If you want a warning message you need to do the following:

idata.canClose = false;
Unpacker.setDiscardInterrupt(false);

Then you will get a warning message, BUT if the user selects yes you lose control and Izpack pulls your installer from under your feet as you have no control over what happens when your installer quits.

Am experiencing the same problem in Windows too. Worse, I have Shortcut Panel first and then Install Panel, so that warning doesn't come in subsequent panels too.

Any updates on this issue?

Because this issue has been reported a long time ago, which IzPack version do you re-report for? Is this still valid for 5.0.0-beta11?

Atleast it is valid for the current stable version 4.3.5

Have removed the previous button from the installer frame for preventing the user from going back, but i couldn't get the warning message to display.

Will http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/IZPACK-604 be of any help? But that too, i think, will be of help only in our custom panels? What about PacksPanel and the like where we don't override?

It is very likely that the installer creates the uninstaller.jar when it seems to hang for around a minute.
This is at least what I experienced with 5.0.0-beta11. The latest RC snapshot of izpack does that better: It only takes 1-2 seconds to create the uninstaller.jar.

This is unrelated to the issue of not having a warning message if clicking "Quit" at the InstallPanel and following panels, though. I can confirm that the latest RC snapshot has this issue as well.

Have overridden the quit functionality and is now working fine in my application. However, the bug in IzPack (without my overriding) still persists.
