Description

It must around the license-issue since we stopped receiving messages from the issues mailinglist of Maven

This problem happened on the JIRA upgrade at Apache as well. I believe the cause is that the code changed to hardcode HTML email being sent to a single email address, which is how all the notifications are configured. The Apache lists drop HTML-only mail.

Ben, you should be able to get the source code patch used from the ASF infra team.

I can send a copy of the replacement class file, but will need to ask someone else for the patch used to create it.

Brett,

A patch to JIRA shouldn't be required. Just create a single user issues@maven.apache.org, and replace the notification scheme email address with that user, and set that user's preference to be plain text email.

Right, but i was tying to avoid it - that's going to take some time for all those projects, and we're not getting any mail right now.

Do you have any tools or suggestions to kick start automating that change?

The projects should all be on the same notification scheme - just change that and you're done.
