Splitting Sonar Plugins project into multiple Jira Projects

Description

Hi,

We would like to create a project per each Sonar Plugin since the number of plugins and releases have grown up quickly.
Right now we are using components to handle the different projects, however it became more difficult to handle them.

What's the best way to do this ?

Just give me a list of projects you need; they will all share the same permission scheme mapping.

Hi Ben,

As you know we have more and more projects in sonar, but not only plugins. I don't know how you'd like to name them in jira, but maybe a convention similar to Maven2 Plugins could be used : SONAR* and SONARP* for plugins. For example :

  • SONAR
  • SONARANT
  • SONARPCLIRR
  • SONARPCLOVER

I let Eric give the complete list of projects to be created.

Moreover there are frequently new projects. In order to decrease the effort required on your side, maybe you could give admin rights to one of us (Olivier Gaudin, Eric who is SonarSource Infrastructure manager or myself) for a specific category. No need to remind that we are trustworthy persons
Of course no problem if you're not confident with this proposal.
